ESICM: Different antifungal treatment strategies

Dear colleagues,

We would like to invite you to participate in this survey, endorsed by the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM).

This survey aims to assess which patient populations receive different antifungal treatment strategies — prophylactic, preemptive, or empirical — following abdominal surgery in clinical practice, as applied by surgeons, intensivists, and infectious disease phyisicans.

The collected data will help to identify current challenges in antifungal prescription after abdominal surgery (excluding solid organ transplant recipients) and may contribute to improving guidelines and antifungal stewardship.

The survey will take approximately 5–7 minutes to complete. All contributors will be acknowledged in the final manuscript.
